The representatives of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Region of Navarre discussed possible future collaborations.
The representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Daban Shadala, met with Mr. Salvador Estébanez Eraso, the delegate of the Government of Navarre in Madrid. During the meeting, both representatives talked about possible arrangements between their regions as well as common interests that unite them.
The meeting was held at the premises of the Navarre delegation in Madrid. Both of sides talked about possible future collaborations in economic, political, institutional and educational fields.
The delegate of Navarre, Mr. Salvador Estébanez, expressed “our community has a high economic and social level standing that ranks it in the 32nd position of the 280 European regions. It excels in the fields of science and research, and industry. Navarre is the world leader in renewable energies and has an important agro-food industry of high quality.”
Representative Shadala expressed his gratitude for the meeting. “I am sure that Navarre and our region can make great collaborations in the future. I am thankful for this meeting and the invaluable help than Mr. Estébanez has offered us.”
The meeting was the first step taken by the KRG Spain representation in order to establish agreements between both Regions in the near future.
